Born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, Shaun received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. He then headed north to Boston, Massachusetts to attend Northeastern University School of Law, where he focused on business and intellectual property law, taking such classes as intellectual property transactional practice, corporations, employment law, modern real estate development, and land use. Shaun is now back in the Sunshine State assisting clients in both states.

Shaun developed his legal skills working in the Economic Crimes Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts; WGBH’s Business and Legal Affairs Department; the employment, intellectual property, strategic alliance, and corporate practice groups at Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton, P.C., a business and intellectual property law firm in Waltham, MA; and in the chambers of the Honorable Gary Katzmann of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, where Shaun helped to draft bench memoranda and § 1:28 opinions for criminal and civil appeals.

Prior to law school, Shaun worked as an electrician and superintendent where he managed projects and supervised staff.

In his spare time, Shaun enjoys listening to podcasts, staying abreast of the latest developments at the intersection of law and technology, spending time with family, and watching sporting events, especially Tampa Bay Lightning hockey games. Shaun also plays ice hockey and is an avid runner.
